So my kid brother (14) is in town for Spring Break. He went out to his first “show” last night where I was playing drums in a band. We hit up the music stores today where his gaze met a used guitar in the window of McNeece Music. He’s been playing guitar for a year (I bought him a Squier Telecaster last year when he came to visit). He’s progressed very well, having moved on from a small practice amp to his first tube amp. Anyway, we spoke with the shop owner (a swell dude from Tallahassee) and worked out a trade which was basically his Telecaster and all the money in his pocket for the new guitar, a stand, strap locks, and a 30 day warranty. My brother is super pumped about his new guitar, an Epiphone Firebird Studio with Carvin pickups. I’m sitting behind the drum set watching him play Nirvana, Hendrix and other teenage interest stuff. It’s cute. He’s awesome. 

I’ve had like, three of these.

I wish to procure these items and marry them in wonderful low frequency bliss.

Anyone looking for a solid little firecracker of a tube amp? I’m selling this darling:
