Inspire Me

Sexy Italian motorcycle boots 2011 was a no-go. In reality, they fit much smaller than I thought they would; more like 1/4 boots. Still, they are the sexiest man boots I’ve ever seen. I hoped they would go much higher up my leg to provide protection from heat, road rash, and also allow me to tuck my pants into them. They are too slim to allow for a seamless flow of fabric to boot. :(

So, I return to the American made Chippewa line of riding boots. The black boots are runner-up for sexy motorcycle boots and #1 for protection. I’ve purchased them twice. They were too big once and too small the next. They feel wonderful and the craftsmanship is top notch. *BUT* they’re black. There’s nothing wrong with black boots but I don’t like them with denim. My eyes won’t accept denim tucked into black boots.

Equal in protection and probably comfort are the tan Chippewa riding boots. They have buckles, look to allow pants to be tucked in and are the most affordable of the three. *BUT* they look like boots a Harley guy would ride.

I’m currently wearing these Doc Marten’s. They’re comfy but I was wearing these when I broke my ankle.They’re kinda clunky on the bottom and look a little silly when I tuck my jeans into them. They’re too industrial to work with, oh say corduroy pants, striped t shirts and sweater. Besides, I really like buckles and straps. I’d like the boots to be floppy up top if I so desire.
